ICPR: Optional Activities
Please use the following forms to reserve a spot for optional activities during
the conference. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and include GST.
All reservations (with the exception of bike rentals) must be confirmed with
payment (in cash) upon registration.
Tuesday, August 6th
FREE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
Bus Tours:
All bus tours leave from and return to The Banff Centre. Promotional materials
will be available for viewing at the registration desk. Tours are subject to
cancellation if there are fewer than 20 signed up.
Cost: $30 adults $15 children (note these are special rates for
conference delegates)
Time: All buses will leave at 2:45 p.m. sharp. Tours are approximately
4.5 hours long.

Guided Hikes:
The Banff Centre will provide tour guides for hikes throughout the Banff
area.
Cost: $7.49 per person. Maximum 14 people per guide.
Time: 2:45 p.m.
Evening Opera Experience:
Tickets are available for the world premiere of an opera by composer John
Metcalf and librettist Mark Morris entitled, "Kafka's Chimp."
Cost: $21.40
Time: 8:00 p.m. Eric Harvie Theatre (on The Banff Centre Campus)
Mountain Biking:
Mountain bikes may be rented in Banff by the hour or day. Prices range from
approximately $6.50/hr to $26/day depending on whether you want basic or full
suspension bikes.

Columbia Icefields Bus Tour:
Promotional materials will be available for viewing at the registration desk.
If more than 20 are interested we can negotiate special conference rates for
this tour. Normal (non-conference) rates are $69 per adult.
Cost: $30 adults $15 children
Time: Depart 8:00 a.m. Return 6:00 p.m. The tour is approximately
9.5 hours in length.
