The International Conference on Personal Relationships (ICPR) provides a forum for scholars interested in the study of personal relationships to discuss contemporary research issues in paper sessions, symposia, poster presentations, and workshops. ICPR 1996 is sponsored by the International Society for the Study of Personal
Relationships ISSPR, The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Department of Psychology and the Faculty of Social Sciences at The University of Calgary, and the Department of Psychology at the University of Winnipeg.
ISSPR is an interdisciplinary organization devoted to research and scholarship on personal relationships.
Disciplines represented include Psychology, Sociology, Communication Studies, Family Studies, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Social Work.
The conference begins on August 4th with afternoon registration, a reception beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner, and ends with dinner on August 8.
